7 reasons Kerala belongs on your 2026 list
Backwaters, Ayurveda and hill-station tea trails — here's why God's Own Country still steals hearts, and how to see the best of it in a week.

Dubai is misleadingly easy to do badly. The temptation is to cram every icon into three days; the reward of doing it slower is much richer.
Day 1: Arrival, fountains, mall. Land, settle, and head to Dubai Mall and the Fountain show after dark. It's free, theatrical, and an excellent introduction.
Day 2: Old and New Dubai. A city tour that mixes the gold and spice souks, an abra ride across the creek and a stop at the Dubai Frame. Burj Khalifa observation deck in the evening when the city lights come on.
Day 3: Desert safari. Afternoon dune-bashing, camel rides and a desert-camp barbecue under the stars — the iconic Dubai experience.
Day 4: A free day. Pick one — Atlantis Aquaventure for water parks, the Miracle Garden for photos, or a dhow dinner cruise at Dubai Marina.
Day 5: Abu Dhabi day trip. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the country's most beautiful building, and Yas Island has Ferrari World and Warner Bros if you have kids in tow.
Practical: book Burj Khalifa tickets in advance for sunset, dress modestly for the mosque (abayas are provided), and don't drink and drive — UAE has zero tolerance.
